Dog's Choice was created in part because of the love of and the health of my dogs, both past and present. My interest and research in fresh, nutritious food for dogs began in 2013 after my Wire-Fox terrier was diagnosed with kidney disease and passed away the following year due to cancer.  It was during the year Harvey became sick with kidney disease I began my research between canine diseases and diet.  Everything I read said a fresh balanced diet is best and a balanced homemade diet would slow the disease.  Over the next year and until cancer suddenly took his life, Harvey was fed a homemade diet resulting in improved tests (relative to the kidneys) with each passing month.  The test results were a true testimony to me that fresh food is better for dogs.  Soon after Harvey passed, I was rescued by a sweet Tibetan Terrier, whom also had health issues related to a kibble diet and has benefited from a fresh food diet for years.
